In the spring of 2013, we received 10 seedlings from the Arbor Day Foundation:
   2 White Flowering Dogwoods,
   2 Flowering Crabapples,
   2 Washington Hawthorns,
   2 Eastern Redbuds,
   2 Goldenraintrees.
Little more than colored "twigs", we planted them in the prairie plots to provide protection and shelter.
We will continue to monitor their care and growth and when they have reached the size and maturity to transplant,
they will receive a number and a new home in our arboretum.
