Common Name - Horse Chestnut

Scientific Name - Aesculus hippocastanum

Description:  flowers, white, bell-shaped; 1 inch long, with 4 to 5 petals and red or yellow spots at center;  many in long, upright clusters, 10 inches long;  in late spring.  Fruit a brown, thick, spiny capsule, about 2 inches in diameter, dividing into 2 or 3 parts; containing 1 to 3 large, smooth, lustrous brown poisonous, chestnut-like seeds;  in late summer. Description:
