Description: deciduous, alternate, shiny dark green above, lighter below with a few hairs in tufts;  in 2 rows;  from 3 to 6 inches long and nearly as wide;  rounded or heart-shaped with long-pointed tip and coarse saw-toothed along edges;  pale yellow or brown in fall.
